Lifting the curtain: consent in ‘the sex industry’

In the first webinar in a three-part series, we will introduce multiple considerations for consent, shaped by women, sex buyers and the ‘sex industry’. We will outline the process of consent – the before, during and after stages – and its potential points of violation. The event aims to help services to better understand safety risks women can experience when selling or exchanging sex beyond physical and sexual violence. 

Awareness to accessibility - launching an accessible resource on commercial sexual exploitation

Our work during 2024 to better understand the needs of women with learning disabilities who are impacted by commercial sexual exploitation, highglighted the need for accessible information on this issue. In this event we will share our new Easy Read resource, created with input from women wtih learning disabilities and frontline staff, and discuss the process of creating a first of its kind accessible resource on CSE.
