Women who sell or exchange sex use complex strategies to protect their health and keep safe when seeing clients – and sexual health is one of their key concerns. ​In this article we delve into the sexual health needs of women who sell or exchange sex, and consider these beyond the traditional medical lens.

A worker's perspective: Simon Community Scotland

Harriet and Olivia are support workers at Simon Community Scotland, where they are part of a women’s emergency accommodation service. Sexual health regularly comes up as part of the overall wellbeing of women in their service. In this interview we discuss how, as housing staff, they create a safe space for women to talk about their sexual health needs.
